Tavis Rock Hasenfus has been practicing law at Levey, Wagley, Putman & Eccher since arriving in the summer of 2014. Tavis is a 2006 graduate of Winthrop High School where he excelled as a student-athlete and civic leader, a 2010 graduate of the University of Maine where he majored in philosophy, with minors in ethics, religion and anthropology, and a 2013 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. At the law school, he was a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, an exchange student at Dalhousie University’s Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia and interned at the Kennebec County District Attorney’s office.
Tavis has been a life-long resident of the Winthrop area and has strong ties to the community. He has worked as a substitute teacher in the Winthrop Public Schools and served many years as a lifeguard & waterfront director and a baseball and football coach in Winthrop. Tavis has volunteered on the Winthrop Recreation Committee and is the President-Elect of the Friends of Cobbossee Watershed non-profit. He loves practicing law in his hometown and has established a practice where he can meet the legal needs of this diverse community.
