Arriving in the summer of 2014, attorney Tavis Rock Hasenfus is the newest attorney with Levey, Wagley & Putman. Tavis is a 2006 graduate of Winthrop High School where he excelled as a student- athlete and civic leader, a 2010 graduate of the University of Maine where he majored in philosophy, with minors in ethics, religion and anthropology, and a 2013 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. At the law school, he was a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.
Tavis has been a life-long resident of Winthrop and has strong ties to the community. He is excited to practice law in his hometown and hopes to establish a practice where he can meet the legal needs of this diverse community.
Tavis has worked in the Maine Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices and was a legal intern with both the Kennebec County District Attorney’s Office and the Disabilities Rights Center of Maine. He has also worked as a substitute teacher in the Winthrop Public Schools and served many years as a lifeguard & waterfront director and a baseball and football coach in Winthrop. Tavis currently volunteers on the Winthrop Recreation Committee and hopes to join other local organizations. He plans to concentrate primarily on real estate, family law and general practice matters.
